ACK - Arthur Charles Kittridge III
"But I'm just Chuck"
We all know that ACK is the FAA's airport code for Nantucket's Airport. But there is another ACK - Arthur Charles Kittridge III, a/k/a "Chuck." Chuck is a seagull who lives on Nantucket. He dines at the finest restaurants on the island and occasionally he goes for scraps at the backdoor. Chuck and his friend Cooper go to school at the Shipwreck Institute. Not everyone can get in. There is a long waiting list. Chuck was chosen because of his special talent. What is that talent? He sounds like a fog horn. Chuck is the Fog Horn of the seagulls.
